Our mission

Common Source is building partnerships for a learning ecosystem of networks, bottom-up and top-down, which fuels the current and future development of robust, regional and regenerative food systems in cities and metropolitan regions, in the EU and the world at large.

To make this happen, we offer the bridge between the current system and the emerging markets, onboarding networks and facilitating the process of inspiration, co-creation and co-development, facilitated by our Cities Leading Food Production programme.

We’re combining the activities and expertise of all networks and partners. This provides a license to operate, we learn from each other and together we create the food systems for the future.

The regional rollout processes are currently active in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Copenhagen, and being prepared in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, South America and North America.
